Does snow affect mapping?

Snow actually causes more challenge for the mapping vehicles than for the SWAT BOX. The EC readings are still reliable through snow, and as long as we can drive through the drifts (rather than over them) the elevation data will still be accurate. We end our mapping season when fields become impassable or when drifts harden.
