How to add a farm

Please confirm with the farmer if they have an account already. If the farmer already has a SWAT RECORDS account, you can contact and we can help you connect.
  1. Go to Add/Edit Farm
  2. Click on Create New Farm
  3. Enter in your Farm Name, Time Zone, Country and Area Units
  4. Next go into the new farm you just created
  5. In the left hand menu, scroll down to Farm Settings
  6. Add a Folder Name (Recommend Copy and Pasting your Farm Name)
  7. Add a Soil Sample Prefix
    1. This needs to be unique to the farm (You can check what has been used under Soil Tests > List Sample ID for All Farms)
    2. Recommend you use 3 letters that represent the farm
  8. Enter in your Sampling End Depths
You are now ready to add your fields!
