Farm Sampling Logistics

  1. Enter in the Farm
  2. On the left-hand menu, click on Soil Sampling Logistics
Assigning Samplers
  1. In Soil Sample Logistics go to Soil Sampling Responsibilities

  2. Here, you can sort by Consultant, or any of the headers in the headings. 
  3. You can select multiple farms before selecting the dropdown menu which defaults as Unassigned. Choose your Sampler and Click Assign Contact as Sampler.

  4. By assigning samplers in Soil Sampling Responsibilities before selecting fields within the farm, they will auto populate in the corresponding farm. 
  5. The Assigned Sampler Dashboard Shows how many fields each sampler is assigned, helping to plan workloads in season.  ** A farms Sampling Logistics page must be filled out for this to be accurate**

  1. If a sampler was assigned in Soil Sampling Responsibilities, the sampler will appear once a field is selected to be sampled.  *Note – if you just did this, you may need to close the soil sampling page and re-enter for the information to appear. 
  2. From here, you can select: 
    1. Fields to Sample 
    2. Assign a Sampler, if it wasn’t previously done 
    3. Choose your Package – either from pre-populated one or enter manually 
    4. Select if it is a priority field (Only applicable if going to SWAT Lab) 
    5. # of Depths – the depth specifics will automatically fill in if they depths are set up under Farm Settings 
    6. Select if it is Ready to sample 

    These can all be batch updated by selecting the fields on the far-left side.

  3. Sampled Date and Sampled By will automatically propagate once a sampler toggles to Sampled in the app.  If the sampler is different that the originally assigned sampler, this will update for accurate statistics. 

 

Soil Sampling Statistics 

  1. View all the Soil Sampling Statistics

  2.  From within this screen, you can view the data several ways, based on your preference. 
  3. Company level advanced statistics can be found on the home screen on SWAT RECORDS under SAMPLING STATS
