Installation is stuck on "Service 'SWAT RECORDS Service' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
To fix the error that occurs when updating SWAT RECORDS while installing version 3.71.1338 or newer, you must update the Windows services on your computer to .NET 8.
To do this, you will need to download and install the following two links:
They should automatically download.
Run the downloaded installers either from your browser or from "My Downloads" in windows explorer
.NET 8 Installer
Allow installer to make changes to your machine.
Close when done.
Reboot SWAT RECORDS and it should work as expected.
